The brief

From an 8,400 m² building to a fully cleared site.

As principal contractor, GRANDE 2012 managed the complete sequence — from preparation and phased dismantling to concrete demolition, material separation and final site clearance.

Delivery

Controlled sequence. Measurable outcome.

The works were divided into defined technical stages so each material stream could be handled safely and the site handed over ready for the next construction phase.

Preparation and opening-up

Phased removal of facade cladding and preparation of the primary structure.

Steel structure

Controlled dismantling, separation and loading of approximately 2,000 tonnes of steel structures and scrap.

Concrete and foundations

Mechanised demolition of 10,000 m³ of concrete structures and preparation for removal.

04

Site clearance

Final separation, loading and clearance of the platform for the following works.

Outcome

One contract. Full responsibility for delivery.

GRANDE 2012 handed over a cleared and prepared site following nine months of phased work in an active urban environment.
